Anastasia is a technician in the Fowell Lab, working to solve problems and support our graduate students through their research projects. 

 

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2021. While in school she worked as a medical assistant at a doctors office. Her undergraduate research was done under Dr. Eli Borrego and focused on the functional genomics of plant oxylipin biology.  

During Spring 2021, Anastasia began working at Cornell in a plant pathology lab, before transferring into the Fowell Lab in the Fall.

 

In her free time she enjoys paddle boarding, playing guitar and spending time with her dog.
