Lwiza AitDowd

Lwiza is a junior in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, studying Biological Sciences with interests in microbiology and cellular and molecular biology. She looks forward to connecting topics learned in the classroom to a more in-depth application within the lab. She is interested in the small, microscopic processes that make up immunology and the various ways our bodies fight diseases.

In her free time, Lwiza likes to play sports with friends and read. She works as a student coordinator with Cornell IM athletics, officiating and organizing various sport activities. She also loves to spend time outdoors and enjoys camping with friends and family in the summertime.
